Citizens be on the lookout for copper thieves

Recently their have been several police reports made throughout the city regarding the theft of copper from vacant homes and houses for sale.  Apparently unknown suspects are entering the homes and stealing the copper pipes, when the realtor or owner shows up they find all the water lines missing. Please watch your neighbors homes and report anyone seen lurking around.  If you see the house isn’t secure, a door is open or window is broken you can call one of the following; the seller, the police or code enforcement.
